Ren Zhenghao. a student at the Shanghai School for Blind Children, the leading middle school for the blind in the East China city, shakes hands yesterday with Xiang Jiangxiang, vice-president of Shanghai Teachers University, after being told he had been accepted to the university this year. Ren will begin his studies in English this autumn. Ren’s class colleague Li Dong, also a blind student, was admitted to the university to study the same major.
